Membership types
- Membership dues are $55 per year for two adults, paid through our membership platform. Financial aid may be available.
- The SMPC has an annual membership policy. Memberships are good for one year from the date of sign up/renewal.
- A 3-month trial membership for one adult is also offered for $20. After the trial ends, the cost of trial can be applied to any annual membership.
- Unless dues are paid in full, members may not participate in any SMPC function, including but not limited to playgroups, outings, meetings, etc.
- Alumni membership dues are $20 per year. To become an alumni, the member must only have children first grade or older. Alumni membership includes, but is not limited to: eligibility to attend general meetings and open playgroups, and access to our online community. An alumni member may also attend any club-sponsored event, if space is available, on a non-subsidized basis. An alumni member will not be eligible for discounts on newsletter or email advertising.
- The club, at a pre-announced meeting, shall decide any change in dues.
TERMINATION
- A member may voluntarily terminate membership by notifying the member’s Playgroup Representative, the Vice President or via the membership platform.
- The board may request termination of membership if member dues have not been paid on time or if the member does not adhere to the Bylaws.
