A community of parents

In January 2018 the San Mateo Mothers Club became the San Mateo Parents Club (SMPC). SMPC is a community of parents with kids from birth to kindergarten age (or currently expecting) in San Mateo and surrounding areas.  We are a group who encourage friendship, support, and advice. 

We offer activities such as Children's Outings, Adult Socials, In-a-Pinch services, Playgroups, and more.

Purpose:

To create a community of young families.  To provide support, education, and friendship to primary caregivers of children from birth to kindergarten age.

Definition of the club

  • We are a member-led group supporting primary caregivers of children from birth to kindergarten age.
  • The group fosters friendships and connections via adult-only events, family/children-focused events and other community related activities.
  • The group offers a forum to discuss openly, in a supportive environment, issues and concerns of parents and children.
  • All members shall be invited to volunteer, participate and share ideas and talents.
  • The club is not intended to be political, partisan, or sectarian.
