Do you know how to help your child turn big feelings into valuable strengths? Join us for a workshop on April 17th at 7:30 PM via Zoom!
We’re thrilled to welcome Denise Menger, a preschool teacher at Carlmont Parents Nursery School, who will guide us in understanding and supporting our children's emotional regulation.
This workshop is open to everyone—no membership required! After registering through Wild Apricot, you’ll receive the event details.
About the Workshop: Parents of young children often face the challenge of managing big emotions like tantrums, frustration, and overwhelming feelings. Learning how to navigate these emotional moments is key to responding with empathy and patience. In this workshop, Denise will help parents better understand emotional development at each stage and provide practical tools to support their child’s emotional growth. By doing so, you’ll foster a calmer, more positive environment for both you and your child. This talk is especially helpful for families with infants and toddlers, who are just beginning to experience and express their emotions.
About Denise Menger: Denise, affectionately known as "Teacher Denise" in the preschool community, spends three mornings a week with preschoolers and their parents at Carlmont Parents Nursery School. As a co-op teacher, she helps children navigate big emotions while also guiding parents on how to support their child’s emotional regulation. These skills are essential not only at school but also at home, where Denise applies them daily as the mom of three curious and adventurous kids, ages 10, 13, and 15.
We hope to see you there for this insightful and supportive session!
