Join us for a roundtable conversation about how happy, helpful little humans are raised across cultures. Please bring input from your family's culture or methods you have read about how other cultures raise children, or simply join to learn some new parenting ideas.
We will be referencing the book "Hunt, Gather, Parent: What Ancient Cultures Can Teach Us About the Lost Art of Raising Happy, Helpful Little Humans" by Michaeleen Doucleff. You don’t need to have read the book to join our discussion and consider different parenting styles.
Dorsa Amir, who is a current member of the SMPC and a developmental scientist, will host the conversation on April 8th at 7 pm on Zoom. You do not need to be a club member to join the events in our Spreaker & Social Series.
Registration through Wild Apricot is required. The Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants in the registration email.
