Cheers to the start of a new school year! The transition to group care or preschool is a big one for our children, and us as parents! Learn more about successfully navigating this special time, and setting the foundation for your child’s early education experiences.

Whether your child is returning to preschool, new to group child care, or if you have questions about early childhood education in general, we would love to have you join us! We are pleased to have a panel of seasoned early childhood educators from the Google Children’s Centers to share and discuss strategies for connecting home and school, building trust, welcoming challenges and taking risks, supporting children to be advocates for themselves and setting healthy boundaries - skills that will serve them in the classroom, and beyond.

As always, we’ll have complimentary refreshments while we discuss these topics and more. Hope to see you there!

About our speakers:

Liana Huie, Christine Beierly, and Monalisa Villamar are currently educators at the Google Children’s Center in Sunnyvale, CA. They bring with them a wide range of experiences with families of infants, toddlers, and preschool children. In addition to their background in early childhood education, they have expertise in fine arts, music and movement, compassionate communication and empathy, and classroom design.

Speaker and Social Series (formerly General Meetings)The Speaker & Social Events are always relaxed, free, and open to the public. It’s a great way to get out of the house to learn something, introduce your friends to the SMPC, and interact with other parents.
