Thank you for your interest in partnering with the San Mateo Parents Club!  We offer a number of opportunities for local businesses to connect with our members.  If you're interested in learning more, please read on for some opportunities and reach out to the contacts listed below.  Our active membership varies between 300 to 400 parents, with at least one child kindergarten age or younger.

SPEAKER AND SOCIAL SERIES:
Do you have a relevant area of expertise to present at a meeting? These monthly meetings are open to members AND the general public, so are a great way to promote your business to local parents!  We are most interested in topics that would appeal to parents of children age 5 and younger.

EVENT HOSTING and SPONSORSHIP
The club organizes many events for our members, including Children's Outings, Adult Socials, New Member Socials, and Special Events for families (e.g. holiday parties). We are also considering offering Sponsorship opportunities for some of these events.

DONATION OF SERVICES OR PRODUCTS
The club periodically provides entertainment, food and beverages, photography services, etc at some of our larger events (e.g. Special Events, Speaker & Social Series). We also sometimes offer coupons or gift certificates from local business as door prizes or other incentives for our members. If your business would be interested in donating a relevant service or product for our members, we’d like to hear from you!

ADVERTISING (Newsletter and Email Classifieds)
The club offers paid advertising opportunities through our monthly newsletter, social media pages, and blog page sidebars. We also periodically arrange advertising exchanges on a case-by-case basis.

FUNDRAISING
We solicit fundraising proposals from businesses twice/year (typically in January and June) and select 1-2 businesses to work with during each fundraising round. If you are interested in promoting your business and donating some portion of sales back to the club, please consider submitting a proposal for the next round!

NEWSLETTER ARTICLES
The club publishes a monthly newsletter that is mailed to all members the first week of each month, and is posted in our online community. We’re always looking for ideas and contributing writers for articles that would be of interest to our membership. Authors’ bylines include their background and business contact information.
